Your Role at a Glance
You will lead the design, migration, and support of Windows Server (2019–2025) on VMware ESX/Hyper-V. Ensure secure, reliable, high-performance systems, collaborate with vendors, and drive successful technology transitions for clients.
Ideal Technical Profile
7–10 years of hands-on experience supporting and migrating Windows Server environments (2019–2025) in VMware ESX and/or Hyper-V.
Proven success in architecting and executing VMware to Hyper-V migrations.
Strong knowledge of virtual networking, NIC bonding, VLANs, trunking, and SAN configuration.
Experience with Dell servers, Broadcom NICs, EMC/Dell EqualLogic SANs, and Cisco networking.
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
Ability to implement and maintain security, compliance, and backup solutions.
Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors.
Your Impact Starts Here
Architect, migrate, and optimize Windows Server environments in VMware ESX and Hyper-V.
Design and implement virtual networking, including NIC bonding, VLAN segmentation, and trunking into Cisco switches.
Configure and manage Dell servers, Broadcom NICs, SANs, and dedicated storage networks.
Deploy, configure, patch, and upgrade Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, SQL Server, IIS, FTP, and related applications.
Ensure compliance with security standards (HIPAA, SOC 2, NIST 800-171A) and implement backup/disaster recovery solutions.
Collaborate with third-party application vendors for integration and troubleshooting.
Document migration plans, configurations, and operational procedures.
Provide training and support to internal IT staff.
Respond rapidly to incidents, proactively monitor systems, and ensure high availability.
Participate in after-hours and weekend work as needed; travel for project delivery as required.
