Ideal Candidate Profile
What You'll Bring (Experience)
3 years of experience as a Purchasing Officer in a retail or distribution environment
Basic understanding of computer components
Relevant experience in purchasing or admin support
Strong background in budgeting and costing
Familiarity with business planning, cost analysis, and budget management (a plus!)
Excellent customer service skills
Willing to work fully onsite BGC, Dayshift (AU)

Highly detail-oriented with strong accuracy in all tasks
Excellent time management; proficient in Word and Excel
Able to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
Strong communication skills — fluent in written and spoken English

Inventory & Pricing Management
Manage incoming and pending orders, stock availability, and supplier ETAs
Create and process stock orders for fulfillment and replenishment
Coordinate deliveries with the warehouse to ensure space and readiness
Handle pricing for demo or returned stock within guidelines
Collaborate with Product Managers on pricing, promotions, and inventory issues
Oversee return or consignment stock processes
Sales Support
Provide ETA and delivery updates for quotes and orders
Suggest product alternatives for delayed items
Assist with adding new products and maintaining listings
Join vendor events or training sessions when needed
Supplier Management
Negotiate and confirm pricing for special or irregular stock orders
Follow up on overdue or delayed deliveries and incorrect shipments
Process supplier invoices accurately and forward to Accounts
Coordinate daily stock pickups with the warehouse team
Reporting & Coordination
Prepare monthly supplier performance and logistics reports
Create weekly updates on delayed or no-ETA items
Support Product Managers in achieving quarterly KPIs for profit, sales, and stock
Manage purchasing mailboxes and respond to staff and supplier inquiries
Perform other duties aligned with your skills and training
