About the Company
Our client is a New Zealand–based SaaS company focused on simplifying accounts payable processes for businesses across Australia and New Zealand.
Their platform helps finance teams automate invoice processing, approvals, and data capture, reducing manual work and improving visibility. It integrates with systems such as Xero and MYOB and is used by businesses to streamline how they manage supplier invoices.
Role Overview
The goal of this role is to become a product expert and use that expertise to ensure customers succeed with the product.
You will apply product knowledge to solve problems hands-on, support clients, design workflows, and ensure customers succeed with the product through practical solutions
As a small, product-led company, this role involves wearing multiple hats, with all responsibilities grounded in strong product understanding.
What you’ll do
Become a product expert and understand how it applies to client workflows
Provide day-to-day product support and resolve issues end-to-end
Own client onboarding and initial setup
Configure solutions and guide best practices
Create guides, videos, and knowledge base content
Proactively educate clients on product features and updates
Identify inefficiencies and propose improvements, including automation and better product usage
Work with product/engineering on improvements
Join occasional client calls or demos when needed
What we’re looking for
Has 5+ years’ experience working with SaaS products in a hands-on role (e.g. product support, onboarding, implementation, customer success)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to understand systems, workflows, and business processes
Ability to learn new systems quickly and work independently
Excellent English communication (written and verbal), with confidence speaking to clients when needed
Comfortable explaining product functionality in a clear and practical way
Experience working in a small or fast-moving team environment is a plus
Experience with finance or accounts payable systems is a plus
