Ideal Technical Profile

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting production Linux environments

  • Strong knowledge of Linux system administration, including common commands such as top, ps, grep, and iostat

  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, particularly BGP and OSPF

  • CCNA certification or equivalent networking knowledge

  • Experience working in SD-WAN environments is an advantage

  • Familiarity with tools such as LogicMonitor, ServiceNow, and VMware VeloCloud Edge/Orchestrator

  • Experience using ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred)

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills

  • Ability to join occasional after-hours monthly meetings

  • Self-motivated, focused, and able to work independently

  • Install, configure, and support network equipment such as routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS, and DHCP

  • Troubleshoot firewalls, routing, and switching issues to maintain network performance and security

  • Investigate and resolve network faults and connectivity issues

  • Update and maintain network devices with the latest firmware and security patches

  • Monitor and report network performance and status to key stakeholders

  • Act as second-level support for identifying and resolving production-related incidents

  • Use monitoring tools to ensure systems and applications are running efficiently and available

  • Collaborate with operations and technical teams to perform routine system, application, and hardware tasks

  • Maintain clear and effective communication with internal customers and stakeholders
