As an IT Support Engineer 3...
You will provide advanced technical support, lead complex incident resolution, and contribute to improvement of IT operations and end-user experience across desktop, application, and infrastructure domains.
Ideal Technical Profile
At least 3+ years of hands-on IT support experience, including desktop support, troubleshooting, and escalation management.
Proven experience supporting Windows and macOS endpoints, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and common enterprise applications.
Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS), remote access tools, VPN technologies, and basic server administration.
Experience with MSP ticketing systems (e.g., ConnectWise) and ITSM processes including incident, problem, and change management.
Familiarity with endpoint security tools, patch management, imaging, and asset lifecycle management.
Excellent communication and customer-service skills; able to mentor junior engineers and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Willingness to work Eastwood Day shift and participate in on-call rotations as required.

Independently manage and resolve service desk tickets across Windows desktop/server, Microsoft 365, networking, and common infrastructure platforms.
Serve as the first responder for alerts from RMM and security tools-troubleshoot, resolve or escalate per documented procedures.
Perform patching, software deployment, and system maintenance tasks with minimal oversight.
Execute basic cybersecurity workflows such as:
Monitoring and triaging alerts from our deployed security tools
Perform routine checks for device compliance and flag any systems out of policy (e.g., unencrypted drives, outdated AV definitions, missing patches)
Running vulnerability scans, documenting findings, and conducting remediation
Create and maintain clear, concise documentation in IT Glue and Autotask
Handle user onboarding/offboarding, access provisioning, and device setup
Flag trends, misconfigurations, or high-risk activity for senior engineers and the security team
Proactively look for opportunities to improve processes and catch issues before they become incidents.
