Ideal Candidate Profile

What You'll Bring (Experience)

• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash. Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef is a plus.

• Automation Tools: Familiarity with various automation platforms (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, Chef, Terraform, etc.) and their integration into existing systems.

• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify issues and implement effective solutions.

• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in automation engineering, DevOps, or a related field.

• Knowledge of CI/CD: Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines and their automation.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their automation tools.

• Knowledge of database management and automation of database tasks.

• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

• Experience in IT infrastructure and system administration.

Your Impact Starts Here

Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and workflows to optimize business processes and operations using tools such as PowerShell, Python, Ansible, or other automation platforms.

System Integration: Integrate automation solutions with existing systems, tools, and software platforms to create seamless workflows and improve system performance.

Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process automation, and recommend and implement automation strategies to reduce manual efforts, increase efficiency, and minimize errors.

Automation Testing & Deployment: Test and validate automated solutions to ensure they meet functional and performance requirements, then deploy them to production environments with minimal disruption.

Troubleshooting and Optimization: Monitor automated systems and workflows for performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing support. Continuously assess and optimize automation processes for scalability, reliability, and efficiency.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear and thorough documentation of automation processes, scripts, and workflows. Prepare and deliver reports on automation performance and results to stakeholders.

Collaboration: Work closely with developers, system administrators, and IT teams to ensure that automation solutions are aligned with business goals.
