What You'll Bring (Experience)

Core Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline.

• Hands on experience with Australian accounting, taxation and compliance is mandatory.

• Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience.

• Minimum of 3–5 years in a finance leadership or management role.

• Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and business analysis.

• Experience leading finance teams and managing operational finance functions.

• Demonstrated ability to partner with executive leaders and influence business decisions.

• Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capabilities

Technical Knowledge/ Financial & Business Knowledge

• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, compliance, and governance frameworks.

• Experience with budgeting, cash management, forecasting, and financial planning.

• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, taxation, and treasury functions.

• Experience managing financial risk and internal controls.

• Understanding of business performance metrics and operational financial drivers.

• Ability to translate financial information into meaningful business insights.

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting executive leadership and senior management teams.

• Exposure to professional services, technology, managed services, outsourcing, or high-growth

• organizations.

• Experience managing multi-entity or multi-functional finance environments.

• Proven track record of process improvement and organizational transformation initiatives.

• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, expansion initiatives, or strategic business projects is

• advantageous.

Professional Certifications

• Fully Qualified CA (Chartered Accountant) - Mandatory (candidates currently reading for CA are not eligible)

• CPA (Certified Public Accountant)

• CMA (Certified Management Accountant)

• MBA or Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration

• Lean Six Sigma Certification

• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Certifications
