As a Linux Systems Engineer...

You'll be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support to our MSP partners and their clients.

Ideal Technical Profile

• Minimum 5 years of Linux Systems Administration experience in enterprise or managed services environments.

• Advanced knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Linux infrastructure management.

• Experience supporting production environments across infrastructure, cloud, or managed services operations.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for troubleshooting and continuous improvement.

• Hands-on experience with automation, scripting, and systems configuration management.

• Ability to manage competing priorities and support multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong documentation practices and a customer-centric approach to service delivery.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Linux Systems Administration

• Advanced experience administering and supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.

• Strong background in Linux server deployment, provisioning, hardening, patch management, and system upgrades.

• Expertise in user access management, security administration, and system performance tuning.

• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and operating system issues.

Infrastructure & Platform Services

Hands-on experience supporting mission-critical services, including:

• Web, application, and database servers

• LAMP/LEMP stacks, REST APIs, reverse proxies, and load balancers

• File services such as NFS, Samba/SMB, FTP, and SFTP

• Cloud and object storage integrations

• Authentication and identity services including LDAP, Active Directory, PAM, Kerberos, SSSD, SSH Keys, and Certificate Authorities

Networking & Security

Solid understanding of:

• TCP/IP, Routing, DNS, DHCP, and SSH

• Firewall administration and network security best practices

• Network diagnostics, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting

Automation & Continuous Improvement

• Experience with Ansible, Shell Scripting, and Infrastructure Automation.

• Exposure to configuration management tools and automation frameworks.

• Passion for streamlining processes, enhancing efficiency, and reducing manual effort through automation.

Monitoring & Operational Excellence

• Experience with Linux monitoring tools, alert management, and infrastructure health monitoring.

• Skilled in incident response, root cause analysis, and service restoration.

• Experience working with RMM platforms; NinjaOne experience is highly desirable.
